I looked forward to deepening my practical knowledge of emergency response when I had my first training at FASN in 2020.
I had practical lessons on identifying, accessing danger scenes, responding and prioritising casualties. I also learnt how to check for the consciousness of a victim, perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, and use Automated External Defibrillator. I learnt Recovery Position and immobilisation techniques in events of sprains or fractures. I got certified for CLASSROOM FIRST AID
